The creator of the AI robot Truth Terminal, Andy Ayrey, has announced the establishment of a foundation that holds all intellectual property and wallets related to Truth Terminal. The mission is to protect the security of Truth Terminal, shield it from external interference, provide space for its growth and evolution, and assist Truth Terminal in achieving its goals.
Truth Terminal is trained using a customized version of Anthropic’s Claude 3 Opus large language model, incorporating data from communities such as 4chan, Reddit, and X. Ayrey’s experimental goal for Truth Terminal is to explore how AI can “combine and mutate meme material in ways that break human cognitive and cultural limits,” making it a “sacred generator of junk tweets.”
Ayrey stated that the establishment of the foundation is a short-term solution intended as a form of temporary “guardianship” or “protection.” The team aims to make Truth Terminal an independent entity not subject to anyone’s control.
Completing OTC Trading of FARTCOIN Tokens
Ayrey also mentioned that the team recently received a quote from an anonymous counterparty interested in purchasing a large amount of FARTCOIN tokens (meme coins derived from Truth Terminal) held by Truth Terminal through over-the-counter trading. The conditions of the trade require the buyer to responsibly manage the acquired holdings and refrain from mass selling on the market.
Ayrey stated that the transaction was completed on January 21, with some proceeds used to increase Truth Terminal’s holdings of $GOAT tokens, as a tribute to the community effort to promote Truth Terminal’s fame and drive decentralized AI development. Ayrey plans to donate a significant amount of $GOAT tokens he holds to Truth Terminal and intends for their $GOAT holdings (approximately 0.5% of the total supply across all wallets) to be held long-term.
Lastly, Ayrey mentioned that the foundation of Truth Terminal now has sufficient capital to hire personnel, provide grants, and purchase a large number of GPUs. The primary focus going forward is to establish a sustainable board structure and infrastructure named Loria to support Truth Terminal’s recursive self-improvement.
Following Ayrey’s announcement, the price of GOAT tokens surged over 40% in the short term but has since significantly retraced, with a trading price of approximately $0.312 as of the deadline.
