Ethereum Foundation Announces Global “Ethereum 10th Anniversary Celebration” on July 30
The Ethereum Foundation announced on Thursday that it will host a global “Ethereum 10th Anniversary Celebration” on July 30 this year, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the genesis block.
Ethereum will mark the 10th anniversary of the creation of the genesis block at 11:26:13 PM Taiwan time on July 30. On that day, the Ethereum Foundation will collaborate with the community to support a series of global gatherings, on-chain commemorative activities, and live broadcasts to collectively embrace the next decade of Ethereum.
According to the announcement, the Ethereum 10th Anniversary Celebration will be organized and operated by the community itself, which can include small gatherings celebrating with local Ethereum community members, or larger events. Community organizers can apply for a grant of up to $500 for each event from the Ethereum Foundation before June 15, with funding coming from the organization’s Ecosystem Support Program.
