Monad Gains Attention Ahead of Testnet Launch
Only two months away from its open testnet, Monad, a high-performance Layer 1 chain compatible with Ethereum, has garnered significant attention. Currently, there have been 16.48 million contracts deployed, and the number of wallets has surpassed 210 million. Monad employs a parallel computing and pipelining architecture, aiming to achieve 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) and 1-second finality, significantly enhancing scalability. Its EVM compatibility has also lowered the development threshold, attracting over 100 early projects spanning various fields including DeFi, NFTs, and infrastructure.
