Etherscan, the Ethereum blockchain explorer, announced on Wednesday its acquisition of Solscan, the block explorer for the Solana ecosystem, stating that this collaboration will continue their ongoing efforts to improve blockchain data accessibility across multiple networks.
Following the merger, Etherscan and Solscan will not only continue to provide trusted, neutral, and fair access to blockchain data, but also plan to integrate more useful features to enhance the exploration and analysis capabilities of both platforms. The team will also focus on improving user experience, including user interface, navigation, and overall accessibility.
According to the announcement, since its establishment in 2021, Solscan has been serving over 3 million users monthly. “Many of Solscan’s features are familiar to Etherscan users, including detailed information on addresses, tokens, and transactions, as well as APIs, dashboards, and NFT metadata.”
