AltLayer, a decentralized Rollup as a Service (RaaS) protocol, announced on Tuesday (23rd) that its native application token, ALT, will be available for eligible users to claim in the first season airdrop from January 25th to February 25th. The team will release the ALT claim website on their official X account, Discord, and Telegram.

The total amount of the first season airdrop for ALT is 300 million tokens (3% of the total token supply). Among them, 35.47% will be distributed to AltLayer NFT series holders, 37.07% will be allocated to participants of the early Altitude Campaign, 13.05% will be distributed to EigenLayer users for re-staking, 4.49% will be allocated to EigenLayer ecosystem partners, and the remaining 9.92% will be distributed to Celestia stakers and others. The airdrop snapshot was completed on January 17th at 8:11 am Taiwan time.

AltLayer also announced the details of the airdrop to the re-staking community, where ALT tokens will be distributed to EigenLayer, Renzo, ether.fi, and KelpDAO users based on their re-staking score levels.

Furthermore, AltLayer stated that detailed information about the second season airdrop of ALT will be announced later. The team also reminded users to avoid clicking on fraudulent airdrop websites. Zombit noticed that there are many fake AltLayer accounts below AltLayer’s tweets and reminded users to double-check the authenticity of the account that posted the announcement before clicking on any airdrop website.
