According to an announcement released by Filecoin, the project will collaborate with Solana, a blockchain network, to provide decentralized storage services for its blockchain historical data. This move not only enables data redundancy, scalability, and enhanced security in a decentralized manner, but also provides easier access for Solana infrastructure providers, explorers, indexers, and anyone in need of historical block data.
Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana, commented on this collaboration on the X platform, saying, “I am very excited about this release. Special thanks to @Filecoin for building an excellent decentralized archiving layer.”
