Cryptocurrency columnist Tiffany Fong recently interviewed G Lock, a former member of the Bloods gang and inmate at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, who shared the only photo of FTX founder SBF in recent months. The photo was taken around Christmas last year (December 17, 2023), as taking photos is only allowed on Christmas and Father’s Day in prison. Compared to before, SBF appears noticeably thinner in the photo.
During the interview, G Lock mentioned that SBF doesn’t like to shower, keeps a big beard, and dresses untidily, but overall, he is a good person. Tiffany Fong also asked G Lock if SBF’s aversion to showering was because he was afraid of incidents involving “dropping the soap.” G Lock laughed and said that was a thing of the 1990s.
Furthermore, G Lock had nothing but praise for SBF, stating that he is not the type to snitch and even compared him to the rapper Tekashi69, saying SBF is more like a street gang member. G Lock expressed, “If he (referring to SBF) were black, he would definitely be a true N-word!”
