With the maturity of second-layer solutions and modularized architecture, deploying one’s own blockchain network has become easier. Blockchain infrastructure company Conduit recently launched a new product based on “Rollup as a Service” (RaaS), allowing users to easily build their own L3 Rollup with just a few clicks.
According to the platform’s interface, users can freely choose which Rollup technology (OP Stack or Arbitrum Orbit), settlement layer, and data availability layer they want to use for their L3 network. Once the selections are made, users can proceed to payment and create their own L3 Rollup.
As for the cost, deploying a testnet only requires $50 per month, while deploying on the mainnet would cost $3,000 per month. Conduit will also receive 7.5% of the revenue generated from these L3 Rollups.
Some people are optimistic about Conduit’s new service and the future of L3 Rollup adoption. Nick Martitsch, Head of Market Development at Paradigm, said, “Launching a Rollup has never been this easy before.” However, some community members express concerns. 0xngmi, founder of DeFillama, foresees potential chaos in the future, stating, “Now every shitcoin will create its own L3 because creating an L3 is even easier than launching a shitcoin.”
