According to information shared by an anonymous KOL on X Spreek, it appears that MicroStrategy’s X account has been hacked this morning, and the hackers have used this opportunity to distribute phishing messages.
According to screenshots shared by Spreek, MicroStrategy’s X account posted a promotion for the “MSTR token” airdrop, linking to a website under the domain “microstralegy”. Online detective ZachXBT also posted that at least $440,000 has been stolen. However, as of now, MicroStrategy has only deleted the phishing post and has not responded to this incident.
Fortunately, the hackers did not use MicroStrategy to release a message about “selling Bitcoin soon,” otherwise, the cryptocurrency market could have experienced significant price fluctuations.
