The well-known game IP “RO: Eternal Love” in Taiwan is about to release an immersive strategy game called “Ragnarok: Monster World” on the Ethereum sidechain network Ronin.
According to the announcement by Ronin, “Ragnarok: Monster World” is a game based on tower defense and monster NFT collection elements. It is developed by the game studio and Web3 development company ZERO X AND (0x&) under the authorization of Gravity, the developer of Ragnarok. Currently, it is still in the development stage and plans to have a major release in the third quarter of 2024.
After the game goes live, players will be able to collect Ragmons (in-game monsters) both on and off the chain, which possess different values, abilities, and appearances. They can use their Ragmons to destroy opponents’ towers and win in story-based PvE mode, one-on-one PvP battle mode, or guild-based land occupation mode.
The official statement mentioned that Ragmons will be issued in the form of NFTs, and players can enhance their levels through the “merge” function. Currently, other game details have not been disclosed, but Ronin stated in the announcement:
