The Hualien area in Taiwan suffered severe damage in the 403 earthquake. Numerous residential buildings collapsed, and fires broke out frequently, resulting in significant casualties. In order to support the affected people in rebuilding their homes, the globally leading cryptocurrency exchange BingX donated goods and related firefighting equipment worth over 5 million New Taiwan Dollars to the Xiu Lin Township Office of Hualien County and the Hualien County Fire Department yesterday, April 17th. BingX’s donated firefighting equipment includes state-of-the-art life detection sensors, industrial cameras, generators, and 40 sets of living room tents, aiming to enhance the rescue efficiency of local fire brigades and respond to emergency rescue work in the event of disasters. Additionally, other supplies such as food and medical supplies were donated. These items will be directly distributed to the victims to assist with their living expenses and help Hualien overcome difficulties and rebuild their homes.
