The Top Performing Fantasy Surpasses Solana in Revenue
Pump.fun Emerges as a Leading Application in the Solana Ecosystem
Despite the recent consolidation and bearish trend in the cryptocurrency market, several new applications have gained market attention. According to data from DeFilLlama, two new applications, Fantasy.top and Pump.fun, have captured astonishing transaction fees in the past seven days. Although these applications have been launched recently, they have quickly gained a large user base and generated significant trading volume.
Zombit has previously introduced SocialFI, a Blast-based application.
Fantasy.top
In the past seven days (starting from May 7th), it has generated over $9 million in transaction fees, surpassing even Solana and ranking third among all “application-type” projects.
On the other hand, Pump.fun is a meme coin launchpad platform based on the Solana network. Pump.fun allows anyone to quickly deploy meme coins by providing a name, code, and JPG image, with costs as low as $2. Users do not need to provide any startup capital, as liquidity funds are raised from the community. Once the token market cap reaches $69,000, $12,000 in liquidity will be automatically deposited into the decentralized exchange Raydium on Solana and LP tokens will be burned.
Furthermore, every meme launched on Pump.fun does not have a presale and cannot be pre-allocated to any team members, effectively preventing rug pulls.
In addition, Pump.fun platform itself comes with a messaging feature, providing some social attributes in addition to meme coin facilities.
Data shows that an average of 14,000 new tokens are issued on the Solana network every day in the past two weeks, with the majority occurring on Pump.fun. Since May 2nd, Pump.fun has created 10,000 meme coins consecutively for six days. According to DeFilLlama, Pump.fun has generated over $3 million in transaction fees in the past seven days, with daily fees reaching a new high on May 7th, exceeding $752,000, making it the highest-grossing application in the Solana ecosystem.
