He stated that if the market value of the Rune ecosystem did not reach 1 billion US dollars within one month after its release, he would commit seppuku.
However, according to data from geniidata, the Rune Protocol has been online for one month, but the speculative activities did not meet expectations. The market value only reached 927 million US dollars after another month, failing to surpass the 1 billion US dollar mark.
In response to this, Casey Rodamor posted on X, stating that he would fulfill his promise and commit seppuku in the upcoming episode of his recorded podcast “Hell Money”:
