Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko has revealed in a post on X that the email list of the Ethereum Foundation appears to have been compromised due to a breach in the upstream service provider, SendPulse. The attacker impersonated the Ethereum Foundation ([email protected]) and sent phishing emails to subscribers. Tim Beiko shared a sample image of the email, which contained a false partnership statement between the Ethereum Foundation and the liquidity staking protocol, Lido. Tim Beiko urged users not to click on any links in the email.
