According to The Block’s report, Péter Szilágyi, head of the Ethereum development team, expressed concerns yesterday on X regarding the direction of the Ethereum blockchain network’s development.
Péter Szilágyi’s specific concern pertains to Ethereum’s PeerDAS proposal, which includes several changes, such as increasing Ethereum’s blobs size to 32 MB. Szilágyi believes that the PeerDAS upgrade will hinder the participation of household nodes (typically equipped with simpler computing setups) in the Ethereum network, contradicting the decentralized spirit of blockchain.
